Music by The Piano Brothers

Beloved wife and mother, Carolyn Jane Fuller-Coggins 64, of Westhampton, passed away January 16, 2019 in her home with her loving family at her bedside. She was born in Northampton on June 14, 1954, the daughter of Percy and Marilyn Mascho Fuller. She graduated from Hampshire Regional High School and the University of Massachusetts-Amherst (class of ’76), where she majored in Consumer Studies. She married Benjamin Wallace Coggins III on July 29, 1989. Carolyn loved music, animals, nature, and travel. She loved to sing, and played the guitar, banjo, and piano. She loved her town, taught Sunday school for some years, and enjoyed participating in the Westhampton talent shows, and later took part in the Cooley Dickinson Follies; singing, dancing, and performing as ‘the Andrews sisters’ with her real life sisters Cheryl and Susan. Professionally she owned and operated Fuller’s Horse Facility, teaching countless students, and riding competitively in Dressage. In 1981 she took over running the farm, as well as Fuller’s Horse Camp from her father Percy Fuller, and in 2003 began coaching the Williston-Fuller Equestrian team, earning multiple titles of Champion and high point trainer awards, as well as helping bring the Interscholastic Equestrian Association more prominently into the region. She earned the Bronze Medal with the United States Dressage Federation with her horse Delphi.

She leaves her husband Ben, daughter Emily Marilyn Coggins of Westhampton, two brothers Allan Fuller of Florida, Robert Fuller and wife Deborah of North Carolina, two sisters Cheryl Fuller Malinowski and husband Steven of Westhampton, and Susan Fuller of Chesterfield, as well as many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, horse lovers, and 2 cats.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday January 26, 2019 at 1pm in Westhampton Congregational Church. The family will be receiving friends from 12.00pm until the time of the service in the church. Colorful attire is encouraged at the ceremony, as Carolyn loved color and life! The traditional Burial will be in the Spring in Westhampton Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make a contribution to Blue Star Equiculture: https://equiculture.org/join-the-draft-herd/ .
