 Eugenia (Klewinowski) Korza, 89, of Easthampton passed away peacefully at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Northampton on January 5, 2019. She was born in Poland, May 2, 1929, and was the daughter of the late Czeslaw and Marianna Klewinowski.  

 

Mrs. Korza came to the US in 1959 to Hatfield, Ma and then moved to Easthampton in 1967.  She was a communicant of the Our Lady of the Valley (formerly Sacred Heart Parish) in Easthampton and had belonged to the Holy Rosary Sodality.  She leaves her three sons, Joseph Korza of Easthampton and his wife Aggie, Paul Korza of Easthampton and his wife Lynn, and Ted Korza of Windham, NH and his wife Karen; four siblings Wanda (NY), Henia, Jozef, and Viktoria (Poland), and she was predeceased by two other siblings, Heronima and Kazik.  She also will be dearly missed by her seven grandchildren, Adam, Sylvia, Benjamin, Alexander, Julianne, Jacob, and Joshua and several nieces and nephews.

 

The funeral will be Thursday, January 10 at 9:15 a.m. from The Mitchell Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m in Our Lady of the Valley Parish, all of Easthampton.  Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

 

Calling hours will be Wednesday, January 9 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m
