Dora (Deyo) Boyer passed away on May 20, 2018.  She was born on October 31, 1921 to George and Exina (Minor) Deyo of Altona N.Y.  She eventually moved to Easthampton, MA with her mother.  She was married and began raising her family, the focus and center of her life.  Dora loved children, all children, and they all loved her.  She was proud to be everyone’s “Grammy” and caring for children was her biggest joy in life.  The goodness of her heart and soul was also felt by adults and many called her “Ma.”  Her love was unconditional and pure.  She was sweet and kind and her compassion touched many lives.  Dora loved her family, animals of all kinds and being outside in the sun.  She also enjoyed cooking and baking for her children and their friends.  Dora was predeceased by her sons Gilbert R and Ronald G.  She is survived by her son Robert Boyer Jr. and his partner April, her daughters Joyce Pellin and her husband Michael, Doreen Boyer and her husband Dennis, and Theresa Parker and her husband Rick.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Jason Boyer, Jennifer Day, Mark Hibbert, Dawn Hibbert, Robert Boyer III and Catherine Boyer.  She also leaves her great grandchildren Maxwell, Zachary, Patrick, Brianna, Austin, Bella, Leah and Robert IV.

A graveside Service will be held Friday May 25 at 11am in the St Brigids Cemetery in Easthampton Ma The Mitchell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
