Nina P. (Rushton) Dale 89, of Easthampton passed away Wednesday April 18, 2018 in the Cooley Dickinson Hospital with her loving family at her side. She was born in Oxford, Nova Scotia, Canada on April 25, 1928, the daughter of Walter and Bernice (Purdy) Rushton. She attended schools in Nova Scotia and came to Easthampton in 1952 with her husband George N. Dale. After raising 3 sons, she was employed by the Easthampton School department at the Maple Street School as a lunch room / playground monitor and later at the White Brook Middle School cafeteria retiring in 1989.
Nina enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting, country music and traveling to Canada visiting family and friends.
She was the widow of George N. Dale who passed away in 2009. Nina was predeceased by one son Douglas Dale in 2010 and grandson Thomas Dale in 2002.
Nina is survived by two sons David Dale and wife Irene of Southampton, Dean Dale of Easthampton, one daughter-in-law, Ellen Dale Garczynski of Deerfield, her niece Vicki (Wood) Johnson and her husband Bruce of Easthampton, two brothers, Llewlyn and Leslie Rushton and two sisters, Gloria Norton and Lorraine Rushton all of Oxford, Nova Scotia. Also, numerous nieces and nephews throughout Canada.
She is also survived by her granddaughter Deborah Dale Sullivan and her partner Brian Provost, grandson  Michael Dale,  2 great grandsons, Patrick Sullivan and Cory Dale, and one great great grand son, Killian Douglas Sullivan. 
Graveside services will be held Monday, April 30th at 11 am in East Street Cemetery, Easthampton. There will be no calling hours at the Mitchell Funeral Home of Easthampton. Memorial gifts in Nina’s memory may be given to the Easthampton Fire Dept Ambulance Fund.

All of us are deeply sadden to hear Aunt Nina's passing, she is loved by us all, she was very special & unique in her own way. She very caring of everyone & fun loving as always loved a good joke or prank so she fit very well in our family. We will all miss her. Me Linda will very much miss her calls & our conversations. Dean & David we send our deepest sympathy as we know you must be very sad to lose your mom but remember all the good times. We send our love & your in our thoughts.
