Judy D. Wyant, 75, of Easthampton died Wednesday April 18, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center with her family at her side.  She was born in Houston, Texas on April 12, 1943, the daughter of John Henry and Erma Lou (Nelson) Parker.  She graduated from Galena Park High School in 1961 where she was a member of the Jacketeers and then from Massey Business College in 1962.  She started her Civilian Federal Secretary career for 10th Air Force at Ellington Air Force Base in Houston, Texas where she met her loving husband Richard L. Wyant.  They recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary.  During her 34 year career she also worked for Headquarters AFRES at Robins AFB in Warner Robins, Georgia, for 10th Air Force at Bergstrom AFB in Austin, Texas and for 2nd Weather Flight at Fort McPherson in Atlanta, Georgia.  She retired in 1996.   In 2009 Judy and Richard moved from San Antonio, Texas to Easthampton to be near their daughter.  Judy was an Atlanta Braves fan when she moved to Massachusetts but converted to an avid Red Sox fan shortly after relocating.  She enjoyed watching the baseball games, spending time with her family, reading and playing cribbage.

Judy is survived by her husband Richard Wyant, daughter Melissa Wyant and partner Thomas Miranda, brother Ronnie Parker and his wife Nina, brother Donnie Parker and his wife Cynthia, sister Kay Howard and her husband Bill along with many nieces and nephews, including Hannah Miller who surprised Judy with a much enjoyed visit in June.   Judy was predeceased by her daughter Theresa Lynn Wyant in 1964.
