Please accept my condolences to family, friends and co-workers. I remember Margot as one of the first persons I met after being hired by the agency where she worked. It was at a Mandatory Inservice. We sat next to each other and one of the first tasks was to get to know each other by sharing some of our life's history and then tell the group what we had learned. Margot went first ( I was so glad because I was nervous.) She quickly put me at ease and shared some fascinating details of her life. A connection to a fellow Angel was made. We met a few times when she visited my clients for evaluations or subbed for one of them until I could get to them. She was very personable, attentive and easy to know woman. It is sad that her time with us in this world was cut short. She certainly left footprints on my heart.

What an honor to get to know Margot, at least a little, during the last few years. Gentle, thoughtful, humble, conscientious and smart, she was a huge gift to our company and her colleagues. Her integrity and unwavering belief in the dignity and agency of every person was with her to her last breath. While I wish I could hear more of the stories about her life, I will cherish the memories I have of Margot and memories that are shared by the Angels and clients whose lives she touched. I hope Margot feels honored and loved from her new vantage point.

My dear friend Margot, we go back a long way. At my wedding you gave a toast and challenged anyone who had known me as long as you did. Our friendship has spanned 60 years. Over the last few days I have been reflecting on the things we did. Being brought up in Vancouver we learnt at an early age to take public transit and we used to go downtown and wander into different shops thinking we were quite grown up. (we were all of about 9 years old) High school years took us to some separate places but our adult life brought us back together again through our children. Chris and Caroline were good friends and Jess and Caroline bonded over dancing and horses. You were always the friend who was there, helping and never judging. I know you are now at peace and out of pain. We will connect again in another life.
Always my friend, Louise Hennig

To Bob , Jessica & Family ,
I still can't believe Margot will not be walking on this Earth. We didn't get to do lunch - I feel cheated by time. I have know her for some time - since Head start days. She became a dear co-worker & turned into a loving friend. It was an honor to know her. Her gentleness, her smile & humor. I loved her baking. I will miss her so very much & she will always be in my heart. Doreen

So saddened to hear of Margot passing. I got to know her for a short time, working at PCDC. She was a lovely person gentle and sincere. Always easy to talk with and give assistance when she could. The world was truly a better place with her in it. My thought and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
