Louise A. Wells, 70, of Easthampton died, following a lengthy illness, Saturday January 10, in Baystate Medical Center, Springfield. She was born In Holyoke September 24, 1944 the daughter of the late Louis and Adele (Kisiel) Littlejohn. She was employed at Edmund G. Woods Company for many years and later was employed at the Holyoke Relay as an operator for the hearing impaired. Louise was a past member of the 2ndCongregational Church in Holyoke. She also did volunteer work for the Big Sister Society in her earlier years.Louise loved all animals and she would often rescue strays.  She cherished her Bichon Frise, Bijoux.  Louise loved the ocean, especially Cape Cod and Perkins Cove in Maine.

Louise is survived by her beloved husband Richard Wells. She also leaves three children, Lisa Pulaski of Westfield, Daniel Wells of Chicopee, and Carrie Dudley of Easthampton.  She also leaves eight grandchildren; Amanda, Sarah, Joshua, David, Andrew, Taylor, Patrick and Madelynn.  Louise also leaves many brothers and sisters in-law, cousins and close friends.
Private Funeral Services for Louise’s extended family will be Saturday January 17, at 10 am in the Easthampton Congregational Church. There will be no calling hours at the Mitchell Funeral Home.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.www.mitchellcofuneralhome.com
