Dominic McFadden, 48, of Williamsburg passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 23. Dominic was born in Queen Mother’s Hospital in Glasgow, Scotland on July 22, 1965 the son of John and Allison McFadden of Harbor City, California. He attended Saint Eunan’s Primary School in Clydebank, Scotland. Dominic and his family emigrated to the United States in 1979 where he graduated from high school in Torrance, California. Following high school, Dominic joined the U.S. Army where he was fortunate to travel the world. He was most recently employed by Elaine Manor of Hadley as a Certified Nursing Assistant. He is survived by his parents, brother Jonathan McFadden and his wife Jill, sister Tracey Deloach and her husband Steve, nieces Sara and Allison, nephews Scott and Michael, and extended family in Scotland.
Dominic had a big heart, was kind and generous and adventurous - a wonderer, a caretaker, a beloved son, brother and uncle.
There will be no calling hours as Dominic is being taken home to his beloved Scotland, where his ashes will be scattered over Loch Ness.
