Dorothy A. Gauvin, 77, of Southampton was called home Thursday May 11, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center, in Springfield. She was born in Chicopee December 2, 1939 the daughter of Theodore and Dorothy (Hadley) Delude. She attended St. George School then graduated Cathedral High School in Springfield in 1958. She then graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1960 from the former Springfield Hospital School of Nursing.
Dorothy was employed at Wesson Hospital, then Maple Surgical and Springfield Surgical Centers. She was a member of Our Lady of Blessed Sacrament Church in Westfield and a 40 year member of the former Notre Dame Church in Easthampton.
Dorothy is survived by her husband Paul Gauvin, one son Marc Gauvin and his wife Katie (Hoagland) of Granby, daughter Danielle and husband Joseph Przechocki of Westfield, daughter Claudine Gauvin and her partner Christopher Rodriguez of Florence, beloved sister Theresa Peloquin of Southampton, four grandchildren: Riandeau Witmer, Charles Przechocki, Julia and Daniel Gauvin, several nieces and nephews and lifelong friend Mary Hatzipetro.
Family and friends may call at Mitchell Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Easthampton Thursday May 18th from 4pm to 7pm.
 Funeral Mass will be held Friday May 19th at 10 am in Our Lady of Blessed Sacrament Church in Westfield followed by burial in Center Cemetery, Southampton.

I would like to express my condolences to my uncle, my cousins and their families. I will always remember my aunt as beautiful, gracious and kind, and I know she will be sorely missed by many.
